There is a famous hot spring near my house. It’s called Arima Onsen.
It’s one of the three oldest hot springs in Japan. Shogun Hideyoshi Loved it.
There is a statue of his wife, Nene, by the hot spring. There are always a lot of tourists there to see the statue.
On the other hand, the statue of Hideyoshi at the entrance of the hot spring is not very popular. There are not many people there.
Outdoor hot-spring baths are popular in all seasons. In Japan, it is customary to wash before taking a bath.
Traditionally, onsen were used for public bathing.
After bathing in an onsen, people often put on a traditional bathrobe, yukata. This is something that you can experience with Japanese culture. You can enjoy a traditional atmosphere (with / in) a yukata.

I’d want to go to Arima-Onsen someday!
I look forward to it!
