Day 29 – June 19th (Sun), 2022 – Mediocre Day
“Hatsu-bon” -the first Obon after death- of my mother-in-law’s death will be celebrated this August.
Since I live in the countryside with my husband, monks will come to recite a sutra and many relatives will visit our home.
We have made preparations to order chochin (paper lanterns) and decorations for the entrance, as we will be waiting for
her return to the Bon Festival.
This August will be a much more crowded month than usual.
