I attended an online language exchange event, called Ohanashi Kagawa. One of the partners told me a proverb; Every cloud has a silver lining. I did not know the meaning, so I was happy I got the useful phrase.
Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining
「どんなに困難な状況や悪いことにも何かしらの良いことがある」
「悪いことの反面には良いことがある」
COVID-19 pandemic has had a silver lining so that I have joined this English group and have met a lot of great English learners. Thank you!

I’ve also enjoyed the event!
And I learned this proverb from “英語で「日本」を話すための音読レッスン” by Shinya-sensei’s reading aloud lesson.
The following passage is quoted from the book.
Japan is a land of volcanoes and earthquakes, but this dark cloud has a silver lining: hot Springs.
I learn this proverb from the book by Mr.Shinya’s lesson. This is a good proverb.
