I attended Matumoto sensei’s seminar hosted by Joy English Academy. It was interesting and helpful.
Matumoto sensei said “If you keep studying the same subject in English, you will see the same words in different contexts. It will help you build your vocabulary effectively. So, you should study the same subject for three months. Then you will have a solid vocabulary on the topic.”
I was excited about it! I will organize the sentences in my favorite textbook, DUO3.0, based on the subjects.
And he continued “It’s important to study English at your right level, but sometimes you might want to stretch yourself by trying something more difficult. “
It sounded the same as what Shinya sensei said.
That’s exactly what I’m doing with DUO 3.0!!
At the end of the seminar, Shinya sensei introduced me to Matumoto sensei. I was very happy!
