“The Rose of Versailles” is a Japanese anime series in the period to the French Revolution.
I heard this anime is now being made into a movie.
As a child, I was not interested in history, but this TV anime and manga got me hooked anyway.
When I was in junior high school student, I became a fan of “The Rose of Versailles”, a musical performed by the Takarazuka Revue.
To my husband’s dismay, I definitely want to go see the animated movie version.
