A fellow English learner told me that I should listen to English at twice the speed.
I heard that when you return to normal speed, you can hear each note clearer.
I thought of a way to practice.
1. with simple English sentences that I can understand, at low speed (0.75x), over-lapping with text and shadowing without text.
2. 60 minutes of listening at high speed (2x) while pedaling a spin bike (concentrating on listening with the intention of shadowing) to a sound source with sufficient comprehension of meaning and sound, followed by shadowing at normal speed with only sound.
3. listen to the text at 2x speed while looking at the text (concentrate on listening with the intention of over-lapping), and then shadow with sound alone at normal speed.
PS. 2x speed is too fast so I will use 1.5x speed.
