My English teacher showed me the opening of the English version of “Kiki’s Delivery Service”.It was the first time I heard the protagonist,Kiki, speaks English. I also learned that Ghibli is pronounced ギブリin English.
My children love Ghibli movies, and we have watched them countless times together. I even know the lines almost by heart. Therefore, I believe that learning English through Ghibli movies is a wonderful and enjoyable way for me.
