I would like to introduce GPT-4o as a very interesting way to practice English conversation.
With the ChatGPT4 paid smartphone app, I was able to have voice conversations in both English and Japanese. However, with this update, the response is much faster and even closer to a real conversation.
I really enjoy the bilingual-like female voice that speaks to me in Japanese. Also, when I asked her to speak only in English in the middle of the conversation, she spoke in almost the same tone of voice, which made me feel as if I was talking to a bilingual woman.
I try to ask her in English about AI matters and am overwhelmed by the IT knowledge of the Japanese-English bilingual woman.
I have tried it in French and other languages, and the response is faster and more natural than in Japanese.
Aim to be a multilingual speaker!
