When I was a child, I used to play with my cousins in the river around my grandma’s house.
There was a bridge called “Shizumi Bashi”, it would sink down if there was a lot of rain.
I loved to jump over from the bridge into the river.
I was surprised because every local kids were quite good swimmers.
I asked my grandma how I would get to swim well like them.
She said to me “All you have to do is swallow a killifish (medaka) in a gulp. So that you can improve to be a good swimmer.”
I carried it out the next day.
From now on, I can swim but I’m not sure if I’m a good swimmer or not.
