Gratitude to medical workers.
A few years ago, I had a serious accident and stayed in the hospital for about four months. I broke and dislocated both shoulders. So, at first, I could not use my arms at all. Nurses helped me with everything, even going to the bathroom. I felt very sad and thought I could never go back to work.
But my feelings slowly changed. Doctors came to my room and checked my condition many times. Even though they were very busy, nurses worked day and night and always answered the call button quickly. They cared about my medicine, my body, and my daily life.
During rehabilitation, therapists worked with me very carefully. Their training was hard, but they never gave up on me. I also saw many other workers, such as pharmacists, cleaners, and staff who brought meals. Some of them were older than me, but they walked with kindness and care.
I decided to say “Thank you” as much as possible. When a cleaner told me, “Not many people say that. It makes me happy.” That moment taught me how important kind words are.
Because of all these people, I can now think about my future with hope. Want to use my skills to help others. I will never forget the warmth of human hands that saved me.
