Damp, Moist, or Humid

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I investigated the word, Damp and the similar words, Moist and Humid. These words are adjective, and have common meaning “湿った”, but are slightly different the usage.
Damp is feeling uncomfortable, and using for things like laundry or towels. The laundry is still damp.
On the other hand, Moist is feeling comfortable, “しっとりした”. Moist forest, Moist skin.
Humid is used for weather, feeling uncomfortable, “蒸し蒸し”.

It would be humid during the rainy day. Take care, all!

I haven’t often used “damp”.
Mostly I use “humid”.
I want to try to use these three words, Damp, Moist, or Humid, right times.
